Not only do we offer tiling as part of our bathroom fitting service we are also happy to take on specific tiling jobs anywhere within the house such as in the kitchen or utility room.

Whether replacing a few loose tiles, laying a new floor or re-tiling a whole bathroom, we ensure that everything is carried out to your satisfaction including removal of old tiles, preparing surfaces for tiling, grouting and sealing.

We also offer advice on the best tiles for your project. With a huge number available on the market, making that decision may be a little daunting and as tiles come in all shapes, sizes and materials it’s crucial to ensure the product you choose is fit for the job. Some tiles, especially those manufactured from natural stone, also require sealing after application and we can advise on this and carry out any additional work required.

Porcelain or ceramic?

Porcelain is generally harder wearing and tends to be the better material for floors, especially in areas of high traffic. Ceramic is easier to maintain and doesn’t need sealing as often. However, the choice is yours and we can advise on the best tile for your specific project.

Are bigger tiles better?

Not always. The advantage of bigger tiles is fewer grout lines and less time to lay, however, smaller tiles can have an added wow factor. Your decision may also be steered by the surface the tiles are going onto as walls may not be able to bear the weight of bigger tiles. We can advise on what is suitable for your project.
